Meet Dr. Russ Montalbano
Dr. Russ was born and raised in Norristown, PA and has always had an interest in sports, science, math and music. At a very young age, he had a passion for helping people, cultivated while working at his family's business. Throughout his youth, he had been treated by a Chiropractor for numerous sports-related injuries. As a result, his interest in the sciences grew and, ultimately, in becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. With the guidance of his parents, his pastor, Fr. Jim McGuinn and his chiropractor, the late Dr. James P. Tadley, Dr. Montalbano pursued his dream of becoming a Chiropractor.
Dr. Russ graduated from New York Chiropractic College in December of 2000 and has been private practice, in Norristown, since August of 2001. During his internship at NYCC, Dr. Montalbano had the privilege to treat athletes at the Boilermaker Road Race, the world's largest 15k, in Utica, New York, and the Ironman Triathlon, in Olympic Village in Lake Placid, New York. He treats a multitude of musculoskeletal conditions including Sports Injuries, Disc injuries, Headaches, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Soft tissue injuries related to motor vehicle crashes, Tennis/Golfer's Elbow, TMJ Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Sciatica and Neck Pain. In May of 2013, Dr. Russ attained a post-graduate certification in rehabilitation and management of Sports injuries through New York Chiropractic College. In March 2020, Dr. Russ founded Chiropractic Mobile Examiners, LLC which is a full scale chiropractic office that offers in office and mobile/on site chiropractic care, as well as, CDL/Medical card exams for those who need to be certified for duty where they are employed. As of December 2020, Dr. Montalbano attained certification in Manipulation Under Anesthesia which is a non-invasive specialized procedure for those who experience chronic pain.
On a Personal Note...
Dr. Montalbano is active in the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, in which he is the past President of his district (Montgomery County, PA). He is active in his church and has been a part of Bethany Music Ministry, which ministers music monthly at his church and leads worship services in the surrounding Philadelphia area. He resides in Lower Providence, PA along with his wife, Gina and five children
